Omac – Stale Bread Balls With Vegetables And Cheese


  • 5-6 state bread
  • 3-4 medium tomatoes
  • 2-3 green peppers
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 spoon of tomato paste
  • 1 dessert spoon of pepper paste
  • 4-5 pieces of Antep cheese (a kind of homemade cheese)
  • 1 tea glass of olive oil
  • 1 medium onion


Chop breads in morsel sized pieces. Mince peppers and onions. Grate cheese. Mince parsley. Mix onion, peppers, tomatoes, cheese, pepper and tomato paste. Add bread and knead it. Theni add parsley and olive oil and continue kneading. Take egg-sized pieces and arrange them in a plate. Serve it with green pepper and ayran.

P.S: It’s a good way to use stale bread.
