Nise Helvasi – A Dessert Made With Wheat Starch


  • 1 glass of wheat starch
  • 1 glass of thick molasses (or 1,5 glasses of liquid molasses)
  • 2 spoons of clarified butter
  • Minced walnut
  • Pistachio


Heat oil and add molasses in it. Soak wheat starch in 1-1, 5 glasses of water. Add starch in molasses. Blend continually until it becomes hard. Place it in a place. Pour ground walnut and pistachio over it. Serve it warm.
